LECTURES

The Celts and Their Art This lecture consists of a brief history of the Celts and their art combined with a slide presentation illustrating Celtic art spanning 30 centuries (1500 B.C. to 1500 A.D.). Included in the presentation are slides of Philomena's quilts showing her adaptations of this ancient art.

Color In My Quilts This lecture is a visual narrative of Philomena's work from the beginning struggles with color to later successes. Since the study of color is a process, Philomena shares her thoughts on the process of risk and success. The lecture is meant to be inspirational and to give encouragement to quilters who have questions about color.
